All over the house.. And then I thought, well maybe if I put a few plates on the wall, and just maybe a thing or two here to draw the eye up….Not happening.. You see this room, and my house really, aren’t at that decorating stage yet.

There’s this flooring.And it’s horrific and I hate it.In this this room it’s this bright yellow carpet.. You can see a bit of a glimpse of it in this photo.. And the floor aren’t getting better any time soon.

We really need to do the roof first, and it would be silly to do anything else before.. I’ve been fake decorating every room, just trying to make it all OK for now, and it’s been driving me crazy.I know in the back of my mind that it’s not working.

And I know it’s a waste of my time..

The thing is, there are plenty of “real” projects I could be working on.Harvesty Corn Bundles.. Corn from the grocery store (or from a corn field out back) becomes a perfect harvest-style decoration!.

I hope you found something in here today that will help to make your season a little more fun!.I promise you this isn’t another one of those projects.You know, the ones that I start and then leave for 7 months, then start again, then leave for a year.

It’s just a little non-constructiony project, but I’ve been plugging away at making the Master Bedroom a little less horrifying and I think it’s coming along nicely.It’s not the big huge complete tear-down renovation that we want to do in here eventually, but it’s worth it to me to just do a few little things to make daily life a little more enjoyable in the meantime.
